BETA TECHNOLOGY - AUTOMATIC BLOWDOWN CONTROLS

too little blowdown causes sludge, scaling, and promotes wet steam and foaming

too much boiler blowdown wastes energy, increases chemical usage and make up water flow

Beta Technology controls are used to optimize the amount of blowdown and energy usage

The Boiler-Matic 3000 boiler controller maximizes boiler efficiency by intermittently sampling surface blowdown water at operator-selected intervals, measuring the conductivity of the boiler water. It maintains desired conductivity levels by closing the blowdown valve when conductivity is below setpoint, and keeping the valve open if conductivity gets too high, repeating the sampling schedule until desired conductivity is reached. The Boiler-Matic 3000 features reliable, solid-state electronics.

Along with the control, we offer sensing probes (pictured), orifice unions to optimize flow rate, and a choice of motorized industrial grade ball valves or commercial grade solenoid valves.
